Kids Booth

Community Booths

We love our volunteers!  Volunteers are central to the success of our Market and our mission of supporting local farmers and bringing fresh, locally-grown produce to our urban community. Whether you are able to volunteer for a few hours or on several market days, we have a range of oppor-tunities to suit your schedule.

Market Information Booth
This is a fun job if you enjoy interacting with the public. Folks often stop by the booth to get general information about the Market, or to purchase Market Merchandise.

The Market Info Booth is also command central for distribution of Debit|Credit|EBT & Fresh Bucks that customers receive via a swipe on an on-site terminal.  You will receive training and mentoring while you familiarize yourself with these transactions, as well as other important customer friendly services that the Market Information Booth provides.

We provide propane heaters in the colder months to keep you comfy while you volunteer, and each time you volunteer for a 2-1/2 hour period, you will receive $5.00 in Market Bucks, which are good at any of our Vendor Booths.

Time commitment: Choose a morning shift (9:00 am to 11:30 am) or an afternoon shift (11:30 am to 2:00 pm) on as many Saturdays as you wish!

Other possible Volunteer Opportunities:
Customer Counter
Event Support
Market Demonstrations, including cooking, gardening, beekeeping, and food preservation.

We'd love to hear from you -- please contact the Market Manager for more information on Volunteer opportunities:

A Kids Booth visit can be both fun & educational.
Thank you for your interest in conducting outreach at the Proctor Farmers’ Market.

The Market has booth space available for non-profits on many market days during the season.  Because we have limited space, we give priority to organizations that most closely reflect our mission, such as organizations promoting local farming, nutrition and health, sustainability, buying locally, or supporting our local community.

Community Booth space guidelines:
  • Organizations can conduct outreach at the booth and pass out their materials.
  • Fundraising and selling products are not permitted.
How to reserve a Community Booth Space:
  • Organizations are responsible for bringing their own canopies, tables and chairs and complying with all Market rules.
  • The booth fee the Market day is $15.
  • There is NO $35 NEW  VENDOR APPLICATION FEE required to reserve a Community Booth.
  • Whether you are new to the Market, or renewing for 2019, just click on the link below to go to the Vendor page, and fill out the Application as directed.
